​   General Rules

​

• Throw ins while out of play.

​

• U8, U10, 18 minutes per match.

​

• U12, 25 minutes per match.

​

• Red and yellow cards are enforced; a red card results in a two game suspension.

​

• No offside rules.

​

• Scoring from a kick off is not permitted.

​

• Unlimited substitutions are allowed.

​

• Direct and indirect free kicks are at the referee’s discretion.

​

• For teams with equal points, ranking is based on goal difference, then goals scored, followed by head to head

​

• ​​For U 12 competition, top team from each respective group will proceed to the Cup final while the second and third placed teams from each respective group will proceed to the plate knockout stages.

​

• In the knockout stage, if both teams are tied, a penalty shootout with three kicks each will occur; if still tied, it will proceed to sudden death penalties.

​

• For the cup competition, the top two teams of each group progress to the cup competition, and the bottom two progress to the plate competition.

​

• All finalists for the cup and plate finals will be awarded medals; only the cup champions will be awarded a trophy.

​

• ​In the event of bad weather, organizers will have the discretion to advise further during the day.
